Visit to Quebec Parliament (Greater Montreal)

On July 18, a group of 52 participants, including 33 retirees and 19 guests, took the bus to visit the Quebec Parliament.

Fun and good cheer were the order of the day along the way.  It was great to see old colleagues and meet new ones!

Once we reached Parliament Hill, we dined at Le parlementaire restaurant.  We were served a succulent meal, using local produce and the Parliament's urban garden.

A guided tour of Parliament followed.  What can we say about our two guides, who enthusiastically answered all our questions.  As we wandered around the Parliament, we learned about the blue and red drawing rooms, the architectural style and the works of art that the Parliament houses.  Our tour of the Parliament ended with a walk through the magnificent gardens on the front of the building.

On the way home, we stopped at Les Garnements restaurant in Drummondville for a final meal in good company.

What a wonderful day we had together!
