Tulip Festival and Rideau Canal Cruise in Ottawa

On May 15th, 54 retirees and guests travelled by bus to the National Capital.

We were very well accompanied by our guide Karine and our driver John.

A photo shop at Lake Down, allowed us to take beautiful pictures of the magnificent tulips with many color arrangements.

A lunch at Tucker's Market Place, in downtown Ottawa, allowed us to chat with our friends and former colleagues. What a good time!

From there, a short 15-minute walk, to take down the copious meal, towards the boarding dock for the cruise on the Rideau Canal.

A 100% electric boat and another very dynamic guide was waiting for us there. Information about the iconic heritage sites and the history of the canal's construction was shared with us.

On the way back, we stopped in the municipality of Montebello for a light supper in good company.

Once again, a great outing. Thank you to all participants!
