At the heart of the Diamant, there are many stories to discover, beginning with its opening in 2019. Since Robert Lepage is a huge fan of Japanese history, a restaurant named NIJI Sushi Québec opened in 2025, featuring cherry blossoms, a minimalist, and statues representing the (good god) and the (bad god).
Next comes a visit to the Théâtre du Diamant, with its 642 seats and its versatile, multidisciplinary performance space featuring retractable floors.
The mural by Zilon, a multidisciplinary Canadian painter who died in 2023 at the age of 67 and was recognized as a great street artist.
A replica of the marquee of the Cinéma de Paris, which was destroyed in a fire on December 30, 2007. The iconic round sign was finally dismantled in February 2017 to make way for the Le Diamant complex.
